Perfect room, clean hotel was not let into the restaurant because of age the restaurant manager, didn’t let us eat in the restaurant. We had to order room service instead, and there was tables in the restaurant the spa was okay, but the spa staff were making dirty looks on us and reception tried to charge us extra fees!

I had my wedding at the Woodland House Hotel in January, from start to finish every detail was perfect. Elaina, David and team went above and beyond. An exceptional wedding venue. The food, service and staff are 5 star. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough.

We had our wedding at the woodlands in January 2025 and we have been saying ever since how great everything at the woodlands was from the food to the service to sorting out all the mishaps of forgotten reading glasses on the day! 😂 Everything was made so easy for us and the team carried out everything with such attention to detail ensuring all was perfect always! We honestly are so happy we choose the woodlands as our venue as we know we would not get that level of service anywhere else! all we can say is the woodlands are amazing at what they do and thanks again so much even though thanks doesn’t do it enough justice! nothing was of any issue to any of the team and everyone was so lovely and kind to us!

Amazing experience for the 3 of us (mother with her 2 daughters). The staff were so welcoming. Rooms were very comfortable. Bedding was fabulous. Housekeeping were very tentative. Any ask was no issue. The food was stunning and produce was sourced from their organic farm or local suppliers Breakfast was so fresh, choice from buffet and fresh from the menu. Dinner in the Bistro was fabulous and as a vegetarian they had so many options. Nicest lemon posset in years! The Treehouse set up was stunning with additional food options, the petting farm and fairy trail along with many more kid amenities makes it a great family location. The leisure facilities were great, spent were day in their! The Reva’s Spa was incredible, totally our vibe and the attention to detail was noticed. Looking forward to a return journey soon

Booked a triple, and got an upgrade to the Bridal Suite. Absolutely lovely. Really enjoyed our stay. Only problem which was outside their control - due to weather conditions the outdoor area to the Spa was closed & one of our Spa treatments were cancelled but we enjoyed the Thermal Suite & cocktails. Thank you for making our girls night away special. We will be back.

I had my daughter’s birthday party there this morning (Saturday 4th Jan). It was my first time going there for a birthday party and I was so impressed. The location is fantastic. The treehouse was amazing and very private. Also, the food for the kids (I chose the afternoon tea) was just delicious and there was so much! Everyone was so well looked after. I absolutely have to give a special mention to the 3 girls that organised it- Saoirse, Mollie and Nadine. They were absolutely amazing at every turn. Everything was so well organised and the kids had a ball. They were incredibly kind, patient and lots of fun. Even getting stuff for the adults and myself they were just fantastic. Nothing was a bother and they couldn’t do enough to help. These girls are an absolute credit to you! Just the loveliest, most pleasant girls I have ever encountered in relation to kids parties. They made everything run so smoothly and it seemed effortless. Thank you again for such a lovely party!

We were passing through Adare today with our son (who has ASD) and stopped in the Woodlands Hotel for lunch. As soon as we walked into Timmy Macs, our son got overwhelmed with the noise, getting very upset and lashing out. Conor noticed and immediately came over asking what he could do to help and suggested we may want to move somewhere quieter. We gladly agreed! He checked with us first that tha area he was thinking of was okay with us before quickly setting up a table for us in a separate dining room, where our son got served quickly. Staff came to check on us regularly and nothing was too much trouble. So thank you Conor and to the other staff members involved 👏. Ye have no idea how helpful this was. We would have been leaving hungry only for you. (The food was lovely too). We also enjoyed ye're playground outside after eating!
